Below we will take an in depth look at the new position change
feature in Tekken 4. While we've seen a lot players ignore this
important feature, we're sure that once you realize the highly damaging
factor of this feature along side walls it will open a whole new
aspect of the game.
The side push commands are screen related, not character related.
In other words if your character is on the right side of the screen
1+3~u would push the opponent to your right while on the left side
you would push the opponent to your left. |

The combination of walls and position change can be extremely
rewarding in the damage department. First of all if a position change
pushes your opponent into the wall they will not be able to block
for a conciderable amount of frames giving you a free hit or even
combo. Additionally, the damage you inflict along walls is also
greater then open field damage because hitting the wall does not
go unpunished.
Position change into the wall can be split up in 5 main types, reflecting
the amount of advantage frames after the push. The frame advantage
increases significantly as you get further from the wall when you
start the position change since you character will already be recovering
before the opponent actually hits the wall.
